Summer Adventure #2 New Plymouth, Idaho!!

 

Which I don’t really have pictures of either, lame sauce.  So we went to New Plymouth to clean out my grandparents house and start to get it ready to sell.  I took the kid up on Tuesday after we dropped Cameron off at the airport.   Cameron was in Green Bay this week.  Luckily we were able to get him on the weekend.  It was a lot of work but really nice to see some of my cousins who I haven't seen in a really long time.  Also my mom took Aftyn for her traditional kindergarten school clothes shopping.  Kaylynn, Paytyn and Tanner went home with Grandma and Grandpa to Oregon.

 

 

  

Summer Adventures #1—Denver, Colorado

Our first trip this summer was to Denver for Cameron’s Brother Nate surprise 40th birthday party (which I guess I don’t have pictures of…lame) .  Since it was also on Father’s Day weekend we took Cam out to Beau Jo’s Pizza in Idaho Springs and to a Rockies game.

Checkers anyone?

We had a family checkers tournament a few weeks ago, it was a lot of fun!  Tanner and Aftyn squared off first with Tanner the ultimate victor although Aftyn did really well for her first time playing.  Then Kaylynn and Paytyn played, Kaylynn taking that round.  Then I played Tanner and Cameron played Kaylynn all culminating in the ultimate showdown of Cameron vs. Jaime. Which we have yet to finish, but Cameron is currently winning with more of my checkers off than his.
