Inside 737 Cedar Bench Way

They finally started the drywall!! It should be done by the end of the week and then after that it’s about 40 days until it’s complete.  So we are about 44 days away from MOVING!!!!! It won’t be done by the end of the year like we hoped, but that’s not a huge surprise since they haven’t actually worked on it for 3 weeks.  I seriously can’t wait.  Cam snuck in today and took a few pictures of the inside.

And they’re getting ready to stucco the outside.  And the garage window that they broke, was put in too.

Lakeview Thanksgiving

We went to Lakeview for Thanksgiving this year.  We had a nice time and got to help Grandma and Grandpa decorate their Christmas tree.  The kids were tons of help!

 

8 Months

A year ago this week my life started falling apart.  A year ago today I was sitting in a hospital room, in terrible pain making the hardest decision of my life.  Surgery while pregnant.  Even though my doctor and the surgeon kept reassuring me that the risks were small, I still agonized over it.  I spent most of the day praying.  I was at peace about the surgery but when I asked if the baby would be alright, I never felt that peace I was seeking so I couldn’t choose and in the end I didn’t have a choice, I just wasn’t getting better.  Little did I know that 17 weeks later I would be back in a hospital making the hardest decision of my life. I know I’ll never know for sure if having that surgery is what caused Xander’s Hydrops.  No one can tell me that it did, but they also can’t tell me that it didn’t .  That’s hard.  I can’t believe it’s been 8 months, that’s longer than I was even pregnant with him.

We miss you Xander, we wish you were here, we love you.

Windows

We had our pre sheetrock walk through the house yesterday.  It was very cool to be able to go through it.  They have to fix a couple of things and then they can start the sheetrock which should take about 8-14 days.  The electrical, plumping and duct work is all finished as well. All the door and windows are in now, except for one window that they broke. IT’s suppose to be done by Dec. 28th so fingers crossed, because they won’t guarantee that it will be done by then.  

 

BYU VS. OSU

We took the kids to the BYU OSU black out game.  IT was really, really fun.  Even though BYU lost we had a great time.  Plus losing to your second favorite team lessens the sting a bit.
