Rub a dub dub big ol’ stupid tub!
So we have had a leak in our tub in our 2nd bathroom for over a year. It leaks through the kitchen ceiling. So our solution to this a year ago was to stop using it. Cameron was in school and we didn’t have the extra money to have someone else fix it or the extra time for us to… so finally we decided to tackle the problem it’s not fix yet but we have a few more things to try and hopefully we’ll have a working tub soon. I don’t think I can take sharing a bathroom with the kiddos anymore.
Paytyn has glasses
I can’t believe I haven’t posted about this yet. So Paytyn has to wear glasses too! I couldn’t believe that in a few short months I went from having no one in glasses to having two kids in glasses. Paytyn doesn’t have to wear hers all the time just for 2 hours a day and during school just when she has to look at the board. The eye doctor thinks she’ll grow out of her need for them (fingers crossed).
Blueberries!
It’s our favorite time of year in the PNW and that would be blueberry picking season. This year (so far) we have picked 47 lbs of blueberries. And by we I mean mostly me. And what do we do with all of those berries? Well the first 47 lbs will be in gallon ziplock bags in our freezer and all the rest will go to fresh eating and blueberry pie filling, jam, syrup etc.

Marriner mostly slept in the car. Yes, our summers are cool enough that you can let your kid stay in the car without worry.
Aftyn also liked playing in the car.
