BYU vs. Gonzaga or my phone takes horrid pictures

Cam and I went to the BYU/Gonzaga game it was supa fun.  We had awesome seats (wink,wink) as you can tell from the first picture but like I said it was fun and a good game so win, win.  Next time we’ll get better seats so it can be a win, win, win. 

 

Enjoying the new house

We have been in the house for almost 3 weeks now and we are loving it. We are so grateful to have a bigger home, BUT we loved and were just as happy in our little home in Washington.  A house is a house and means very little to me it’s the people in it that I love! Like I said though, we are extremely grateful for our new home.  We are mostly unpacked and are now slowly putting up pictures and window coverings.  There are some rooms that don’t have furniture in them yet, we just moved from 1300 square feet to 3000 (finished) square feet, so of course there are rooms with no furniture, and we are not in a big hurry to fill them up.  We’re just excited to have our own space again!  Jenette and Jonatan were so gracious to let us stay with them for so long.  They have more patience than anyone I know.  I don’t think there is another family on the planet we could have lived with so well for so long.  THANKS SO MUCH YOU GUYS!!!!

We searched high and low for an entertainment center big enough for our 13 inch circa 1997 analog t.v.  After looking for months and months we finally found one, thanks IKEA!!

 

and yes that is the only t.v. we own. 

Xander Cole 11 Months

Just going to share two things that have really helped me the last 11 months.

First is this awesome talk that was given at general conference in October, he says everything I have felt over than last 11 months.  LOVE IT!

WE FINALLY CLOSED!!!! She’s ours!

We signed the papers this morning and got the keys tonight around 5.  So we went to the house and had a slumber party.  The kids all slept on the floor in the boys room while Cam and I sealed all the grout and granite.  Very fun!  We’ll start moving in stuff tomorrow but the big stuff won’t come until Monday.  Including our Fridge, washer and dryer.  So Happy!!!!

 

1 Year ago

One year ago I had the worst day of my life, one year ago it was my 33rd birthday, one year ago we found out our little baby was very sick and would probably die.  6 weeks and 4 days later he did.  So I hate my birthday now, it will forever be that horrid day.  So this year my 2 lovely sisters and husband who knew it would be a hard day for me decided to change my big day to February 2nd.  All the cake(s) presents and festivities happened on the 2nd.  We had a cake off.  My two sisters, Cameron and my brother-in-law all made a cake and then I got to judge which one was best.  (I’ll add those pictures later, Cam has the camera.) They also got me a donkey piñata to beat the crap out of, so I could beat some “donkey” on my birthday.  This year on the 3rd I cried, went to church, cried some more and slept.  I silently in my head  counted down the hours till we knew, how many blissful hours of ignorance we had left.  I was/am so sad for her.  I still can’t believe it has been 1 year.
