An Easter for Xander
This Easter morn feels so bright
Shinning with new hope
The rays of sun upon my face
Brings new ability to cope
Not long ago our hearts were sad
Our eyes so full of tears
The precious gift of the Son
Has wiped away our tears
The beautiful gift of Xander
Reminds us of life’s test
To be valiant, show His love,
And always be our best
Although we wish he was here
To see his smiling face
We will work each day hard and true
We won’t slow our pace.
To be as perfect as he is
Waiting at heaven’s gate
Your family’s course is straight and narrow
For in God’s presence we will meet
Never again to part
Because of Christ All is Well!
Eternal life is just the start.
